At the end of 2008, Nechifor opened the doors of his personal panflute workshop, which he built with his own hands next to his home in Cisnadie. The event was honoured by the presence of Gheorghe Zamfir, his former panflute mentor.
Nechifor went on tour in Switzerland again at the beginning of 2010. He played in the Saint Michael Church in Zug and the Ref. Church in Rotkreuz with church organist Bernhard Hoerler.
The two concerts were a follow-up to the 2009 "Homage to Gheorghe Zamfir" Switzerland tour.
Nechifor played the following songs (titles are in German and Romanian):
Lied aus Ardeal (Doina din Ardeal)
Mondschein (Vitrail de Lune)
